Ester Partegàs in Transborder Biennial

Ester Partegàs is featured in the 5th Transborder Biennial, a collaboration between the El Paso Museum of Art (EPMA) and the Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juárez (MACJ). This year’s exhibition includes paintings, sculptures, videos and sound works by thirty-two contemporary artists or collectives living along the US-Mexico border. The artwork explores issues related to the U.S.-Mexico border region, including immigration, crossing, and physical, linguistic and cultural hybridity.

Ester Partegàs will be featured in the exhibition Art in the Open. Fifty Years of Public Art in New York City, on view from November 10, 2017 - May 13, 2018 at the Museum of the City of New York. The exhibition will feature renderings, models, photographs, and video footage tracing the creation of public artworks by such artists as Red Grooms, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, and Kara Walker.

Ester Partegàs is featured in the exhibition Gut Feelings at the Zuckerman Museum of Art in Kennesaw, Georgia. The exhibition brings together a group of contemporary artists whose work looks to food, eating, feeding, and cooking as symbolic representations of exchanged emotion or power.
