Julião Sarmento is included in the exhibition Black Box: Museu Imaginário at the Museu do Caramulo in Caramulo, Portugal. The exhibition, curated by João Louro, includes the work of 6 of the most important Portuguese contemporary artists: Fernanda Fragateiro, João Queiroz, José Pedro Croft, Julião Sarmento, Miguel Ângelo Rocha and Rui Chafes.


The exhibition presents eight contemporary works in total from areas such as painting, sculpture, furniture and installation, placed throughout various rooms of the Museu do Caramulo in contrast to the museum's permanent collection. Black Box: Museu Imaginário opens on June 10 and will be on view through December 31, 2017.
