Ulrich Wüst will participate in documenta 14, opening April 8 in Athens, Greece and June 10 in Kassel, Germany. Exhibited works will include the Flachland series (2013) and selections from the Stadtbilder series (1979-1983).  Flachland, which translates to flat land, is a series of 179 black-and-white photographs mounted on cardboard and displayed as a leporello. The installation will be on view at the Athens Conservatoire (commonly referred to as the Odeion) through July 16. Selections from the Stadtbilder series will be on view in Kassel from June 10 through September 17, 2017. The Stadtbilder series, which translates to cityscape, is a portrait of the Socialist approach to urban planning in East Germany in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Concurrent with documenta 14, Christopher Grimes Gallery will present Stadtbilder | Nachlass, Wüst's first exhibition with the gallery, on view May 6 through June 17, 2017.
